The annual rain here at Hall Lake is about average; through August this area sees the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Through the summertime at Hall Lake highs are commonly in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at       Hall Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. Looking for some flowing water? Try Birch Brook. Lakes? Sure, Warden Pond is close at hand. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Post Henderson Trail. There's so much to do here at Hall Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Higley Flow State Park is a good place for that. So many fun things to do at Hall Lake, so little time. After a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Canton is a magnificent spot to spend a                  night or two, and there are some splendid whitewater spots on Oswegatchie River - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. A tremendous close by hotel is Best Western University Inn, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Grass River.
