Beautiful Gurnee Lake has much to offer visitors. Gurnee Lake is a nice spot to visit for more than one day, Beaver Pond is a nice spot to camp nearby; float down the rapids of Popolopen Creek in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Mount Ivy Swamp is right close by; hiking is a popular thing to do around Gurnee Lake; Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail is a brilliant local trail. glorious lake close to Gurnee Lake, and Gurnee Lake is right by the Breakneck Ridge Trail. Gurnee Lake usually gets a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most, and
February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious nearby hotel is Candlewood Suites Nanuet-Rockland County, Ny; there's some flowing water close by, Horse Chock Brook is a stream you can check out during
your stay. You get a great sight of Cheesecote Mountain from Gurnee Lake. Lakes? Sure, Cheesecote Pond is around here. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Ramapo River; the Woodtown Trail offers hiking at its best.
