    Beautiful Gull Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Gull Lake is good fun, Singing waters Campground is a good local campground; you can go for a hike on the Forty Mountain Trail. Gull Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. You'll truly wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things in the Adirondack Mountains. Get your heart pumping on the brilliant whitewater of Moose River; there is  
   a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Stone Dam Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Woods Valley has wonderful slopes and a friendly staff. That right there is plenty of exciting things already but it goes on, the Adirondack Mountains has it all. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Moose River - Middle Branch, and some close by water includes Middle Branch Moose River. For the period of the warm months, highs
 
               ordinarily are in the 70's at Gull Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Gull Lake descend into the 0's.
Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sunset Inn; Tamarack Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! Gull Lake is excellent! Bare Mountain is clearly visible from Gull Lake, and going for a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail is always a glorious adventure. Gull Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of rain; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest of the months is February.
Gull Lake is a tremendous location to camp, Moose River Camp Grounds is a tremendous location; brilliant skiing awaits you at McCauley Mountain.
