All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back again and again. The Rock Pond Trail offers hiking at its best. Summertime highs at Grizzle Ocean mostly tend to be in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.       The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Grizzle Ocean. If you came for an overnight stay Hidden Pond Campsite is a splendid location to camp; if you need a site to stay Mayfair Resort Motel is a great choice. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. The annual rain here at Grizzle Ocean is about average; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest                  of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There's nice hiking along the Treadway Mountain Trail, and a great place for whitewater paddling is Putnam Creek. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. Schroon River is a magnificent whitewater spot next to Grizzle Ocean; a pleasant sight of gorgeous Big Clear Pond Mountain is available. Be careful coming to Grizzle Ocean, you might not ever wanna return home again.
