Griswold Pond is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Broken Wheel Campground is a perfect spot to camp nearby, and the snow is tremendous at Jiminy Peak. This lake is so wonderful. If you're here, you might as well stop at Robinson Hollow, and glorious hiking is available along the Taconic Skyline Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Griswold Pond with night lows in the 60's. to do around Griswold Pond; Turner Trail is a good local trail; if you've had enough of Griswold Pond, Douglas Pond is close by. Go for a hike on the Brickhouse Mountain Trail; get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of
Konkapot Brook. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Griswold Pond. Griswold Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most,
and February is when it's the driest. You're possibly keen on lakes, Beaver Pond is one of those close by, and some of the water nearby flows, like East Brook.

Alps Family Campground
 | this is a gREAt campground for people with children. They make you feel great about camping. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I would recomended this campground 110 percent!!!!...alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed... |
