Stay the night at Sebago Cabins Harriman, and if you come at the right time of year, Moodna Creek offers some great whitewater. Beaver Pond is a nice campground here, and Lake Mohegan is a wonderful lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Watergate Motor Inn is a glorious spot to get some rest, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Popolopen Creek. Gotta ski! Thunder Ridge is a magnificent       site to do that, and you get a fine panorama of Jacobs Hill from here. Going for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity; a wonderful close by hotel is Evergreen Manor. So many entertaining things to do at Gregory Pond, so little time. While you're here at Gregory Pond you can take a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and getting to Mohegan Outlet from Gregory Pond is trouble-free. Gregory                  Pond frequently gets a good deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Summertime at Gregory Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with overnight lows in the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Gregory Pond. This lake is so wonderful.
