Lake Mohegan is a nearby lake that you could check out, and a good nearby hotel is The Thayer Hotel. If you       get bored of Gregory Pond, you could also pop by close by Lake Peekskill; don't leave Gregory Pond without first going for a hike along the Woodtown Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Near Gregory Pond you discover a golf course called The Garrison Golf Club; Gregory Pond is a magnificent spot to visit for more than one day, Camp Discovery is a magnificent spot to camp nearby.
