You're sure to stumble upon some good folks from Glens Falls here, and Greenland Pond is right by the Berrymile Pond Trail. So many fun things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Mettawee River. Lakes are great; Lapland Pond is a lake that's close to Greenland Pond. What would winter be without some skiing at West Mountain.       High temperatures at Greenland Pond during the warm months are in the 70's while nighttime lows are mostly in the 50's. During the wintertime highs are frequently in the 20's with temperatures at Greenland Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, La Chute River offers some pleasant whitewater. There's so much to do here at Greenland Pond that                  you need to camp here for a while, Adirondack Camp is a great location for that. Greenland Pond gets a normal amount of rainfall; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is January. Dry warm beds await you at The Sagamore. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Greenland Pond has to offer, you can camp at Green Acres By The Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Have a brilliant hiking adventure along the Treadway Mountain Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Millman Pond. After a long day outdoors The Sagamore is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and at Greenland Pond you can spot Black Mountain. That right there is lots already, but it continues; Greenland Pond has it all.
