In New York there are many beautiful lakes, Greenland Pond is one of them. Going for a hike along the Lost Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and you get a good vista of Black Mountain from here. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Greenland Pond with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Greenland Pond dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Just can't get

| | enough of Greenland Pond. There are some splendid whitewater spots on La Chute River, and there are plenty of people from Glens Falls here at Greenland Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Berrymile Pond Trail is glorious fun, and if you came for an overnight stay Scenic View Campground is a wonderful place to camp. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. and if you come at the right time of year, Mettawee River offers some wonderful whitewater. Greenland Pond is a good place of normal rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while January is mostly
the driest month. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Adirondack Mountains. After a long day outdoors Blue Lagoon on Lake Georg is a fine spot to spend a night or two; there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing
at close by West Mountain. If the weather is pleasant here at Greenland Pond, you can go for a hike along the Treadway Mountain Trail, and The Sagamore is a good place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Black Mountain Ponds
is a nearby lake that you could go to, and Willard Mountain has great slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains.
