Colonell Williams Resort is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Healing Springs Nature Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A brilliant location to camp here at Green Pond is Camping on the Batten Kill Campground. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Snow Valley; camping at Dorset RV Park is always a delightful experience. The yearly rainfall       here at Green Pond is about average; all through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. Paddling on Mettawee River is so much fun, and the Bomoseen Hiking Loop offers hiking at its best. The summit of Grimes Hill can be seen from Green Pond, and Green Pond is right by the Glen Lake Trail. If you're stopping by Green Pond from Bennington, you won't be the only one, and get covered with water paddling                  on Battenkill River. For the period of the long summer days at Green Pond temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, ordinarily in the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Green Pond during the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 0's. This is no site for people who don’t like to have a good time.
