During your journey to Green Pond you'll meet some folks from Ogdensburg-Massena for sure, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Suites Canton is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Don't leave Green Pond without first going for a hike along the Post Henderson Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Higley Flow State Park is a great location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Best Western       University Inn is a good choice, and do go to Warm Brook Flow, it's a charming lake. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Green Pond; the wettest month of the year is mostly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. Robinson's Iga is a perfect local campground, and Warm Brook is one of the streams close by that might be worth visiting. So much entertaining stuff to do here at Green Pond, too pleasant to be true.                  Raquette River is a nice whitewater spot close to Green Pond; a picturesque lake like Arbuckle Pond is a perfect spot to stop at. A short spree to Higley Falls is always worthwhile. During the warm days of summer at Green Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's.
