A tour to Green Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Higley Falls, and there are plenty of folks from Ogdensburg-Massena here at Green Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Smalling's Motel South. There's so much to do here at Green Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Higley Flow State Park is a pleasant spot for that. That right there       is loads already, but it carries on; Green Pond has it all. Green Pond is not the only place nearby, Arbuckle Pond is a nearby lake, and Raquette River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by. There's brilliant hiking along the Post Henderson Trail, and some nearby water includes Warm Brook. If you need a location to stay Clarkson Inn is a delightful choice; if you came to camp Robinson's Iga is a good location to do that. Summer at Green Pond comes                  with high temperatures in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Green Pond.
