If you are traveling by, why not stop by Green Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Green Lake is a delightful site to camp, Cape Woods Campground is a delightful site, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River - South Branch. So much amusing stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. A scenic lake like Horseshoe Pond right next door to Green Lake is a magnificent place to have

| | a look at, and whitewater paddling is good on Black River - South Branch. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains.
Singing waters Campground is a glorious campground here, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Norridge Trail. Green Lake gets a large amount of water; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. back over and over. If you need a spot to stay Best Western Sunset Inn is a perfect choice, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Twin Lakes Trail.
If the weather is great here at Green Lake, you can go for
a hike along the Stone Dam Trail; a delightful close by hotel is Best Western Little Falls Motor Inn. This place, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Panther Mountain is clearly visible from Green Lake;
you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at McCauley Mountain while you're here. East Bay is not far from Green Lake at all; a short visit to Limekiln Falls is always worthwhile.
Having a great time at Green Lake is
easy. Combs Brook is a stream that you may encounter while here. High temperatures at Green Lake during the warm days of summer are in the 70's, and the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. High temperatures
throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Green Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Combs Springhole is something you shouldn't miss while you're here at Green Lake, and since you're here you can play some golf at Thendara Golf Club.
