Now, you may believe that's heaps but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Green Lake. East Bay is reasonably next to Green Lake, and dry warm beds await you at Knights Inn Little Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Black River - South Branch, and why not spend some       time golfing at a close by golf course like Thendara Golf Club. At Green Lake during the months of summer highs are in the 70's; the overnight is a little cooler of course, generally in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Green Lake fall into the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. While you're here at Green Lake you can take a hike along the Norridge                  Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Combs Springhole is an out of the ordinary place to pop by while at Green Lake, and a day on the slopes of McCauley Mountain is just what you need. Camping is available at OLD Forge Camping Resort; get wet paddling on Moose River - South Branch. This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Panther Mountain can be seen from Green Lake, and you can have a good hiking adventure along the Twin Lakes Trail. Some of the water nearby flows, like Combs Brook, and don't leave Green Lake without first paying a visit to Limekiln Falls. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the Adirondack Mountains has to offer. On a great day at Green Lake you can take a hike along the Stone Dam Trail, and Green Lake is not the only place close by, Horseshoe Pond is a close by lake. Whohoo, so much exciting stuff in one place! The Adirondack Mountains is peerless! If you came for an overnight stay Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a pleasant place to camp, and if you get bored of Green Lake you could also stop by nearby Panther Lake.   Knights Inn Little Falls, Little Falls 31 miles away Full Service Restaurant and Lounge Banquet.
