Green Lake is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Campsite is a great spot to camp nearby; going for a hike on the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail is always a great adventure. There's no way someone can get bored here in the Adirondack Mountains. Do stop by Otter Lake close to Green Lake, it's a scenic lake, and Sprite Creek is a tremendous whitewater spot close by. So       much enjoyable stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not sufficient time. Don't miss out on a great swamp; Mud Lake is right here at Green Lake, and a brilliant close by hotel is Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Green Lake rocks! A lovely lake like Canada Lake next to Green Lake is a splendid location to pop by, and Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a delightful local campground. For the duration of the warm days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Green Lake; through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's.
