A visit to Great Sacandaga Lake is always a good idea. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. If you like the outdoors you'll like it here in the Adirondack Mountains. The slopes of West Mountain are so inviting noone can resist; camping at Great Sacandaga Lake is brilliant fun, Fort Bink Campground is a brilliant local campground. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Gore Mountain, and Stewarts' Pond Campsites is a nice campground here.

| | This lake is so wonderful. There is a splendid hiking trail near Great Sacandaga Lake called the Oregon Trail, and Bell Brook Pond is a nearby lake that you could explore. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Great Sacandaga Lake, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Great Sacandaga Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Bell Brook is a delightful local stream, | |

and Stony Creek has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
Now, you may think that's a load but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Great Sacandaga Lake. Island View Motel & Cottages is a magnificent spot to get some
rest; Conklingville Dam has good water scenery. Great Sacandaga Lake gets a lot of water; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.
Dry warm beds await you at Lake Luzerne
Motel; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sacandaga River. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. From Great
Sacandaga Lake you get a magnificent sight of Dillon Mountain, and a golf course close by is Bend of the River Golf Club.
