Do stop by Gravel Pond while you're in this part of New York. The Taconic Crest Trail offers hiking at its best, and after a long day outdoors Sedgwick Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Gravel Pond; Southeast Hollow Trail is a glorious local trail; if you came to camp Alps Family Campground is a nice place to do that. a thing about the outdoors. A day on the slopes of Willard Mountain is just what you need, and dry warm beds await you at Bennington Battlefield Motel. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Williams Trail, and float down the rapids
of Poesten Kill River in a kayak. The annual precipitation here at Gravel Pond is about average; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. The snow is wonderful at Jiminy Peak.
