If you are traveling by, why not stop by Grassy Sprain Reservoir. So much entertaining stuff to do at Grassy Sprain Reservoir, so little time. Liberty Harbor RV Park is a tremendous campground here, and nearby you discover the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail. Royal Regency Hotel is a magnificent place to get some rest. For the duration of the long summer days at Grassy Sprain Reservoir highs are mostly in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at Grassy Sprain Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. Recreation Area is just something you need to do if you haven't yet, and after a long day outdoors Ramada Inn Yonkers is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two.
Camping at Grassy Sprain Reservoir is great fun, Kaufmann Henry
Campgrounds is a great local campground, and Grassy Sprain Reservoir is not far at all from New York-Newark-Edison. Grassy Sprain Reservoir gets lots of water; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest month is February.
