Don't leave Grass Pond without first going for a hike along the Silver Lake Mountain Trail; camping at Deer River Campsites is always a perfect experience. A quick tour to Clear Brook in the vicinity of Grass Pond       is a magnificent idea, and the skiing at Titus Mountain is glorious. High temperatures at Grass Pond during the summer are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Grass Pond. And if you're still looking for more outdoors amusing things just keep reading. If you need a place to stay Sunset Motel is a perfect choice; Mount Pisgah is a splendid                  local ski area. Now, you may believe that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. While you're here at Grass Pond, you could also pop by beautiful Charlie Pond, and from Grass Pond you acquire a good sight of Black Cat Mountain. Grass Pond generally gets much precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Salmon River, and dry warm beds await you at Chateaugay Hotel. Go for a hike on the Schwartz Trail, and a delightful spot to camp here at Grass Pond is Legton.
