Not far from Grass Pond, you'll stumble on Moose Pond which is a gorgeous lake, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Whiteface Mountain if you're       here. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Grass Pond without first going for a hike along the McKenzie Pond Trail, and Pioneer Village is a tremendous campground nearby. This is a popular place for people from Malone. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Adirondack Mountains. There's wonderful hiking along the Indian Pass Trail; if you need a spot to stay Swiss Acres Inn is a tremendous choice.                  This lake is so wonderful. Grass Pond is a tremendous place to visit for more than one day, Adirondak Loj is a tremendous place to camp nearby. Lakes are great; Bartlett Pond is a lake that's close to Grass Pond. If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Grass Pond. What would winter be without some skiing at Mount Pisgah, and you can run the rapids of Ausable River - West Branch. Good hiking is available along the Schwartz Trail, and dry warm beds await you at The Whiteface Lodge. The high level of rainfall makes Grass Pond a rather wet place; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Grass Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
