    What a nice lake Grass Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Mount Pisgah since you're here, and the Indian Pass Trail is a tremendous hiking trail close by. Grass Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Skiing at Whiteface Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and a great place to camp here at Grass Pond is Pioneer Village.
At Grass Pond through the warm days
 
   of summer highs are in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Grass Pond. You can run the rapids of Saranac River - North Branch in close proximity to Grass Pond; after a long day outdoors Swiss Acres Inn is a great place to spend a night or two. So many entertaining things in the Adirondack Mountains, just amazing. Get your heart pumping on  
               the splendid whitewater of Ausable River - West Branch; going for a hike along the McKenzie Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
And that's not all the things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains. There are plenty of people from Malone here at Grass Pond, and a brilliant close by hotel is The Whiteface Lodge. Grass Pond is a wet place that gets lots of precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. Why not camp at Adirondak Loj since you're here at Grass Pond.
And if that's not enough, there's a heap more to do near Grass Pond. Do visit Moose Pond in the neighborhood of Grass Pond, it's a gorgeous lake, and if the weather is glorious, you can go for a hike along the Schwartz Trail. Slide Mountain is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Grass Pond, and a picturesque lake like Bartlett Pond is a fine place to go to.
