You definitely must like the Adirondack Mountains. You can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Mount Pisgah, and if you need a place to stay The Whiteface Lodge is a great choice. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the McKenzie Pond Trail; if you come at the right time of year, Saranac River - North Branch offers       some splendid whitewater. Grass Pond generally gets a good deal of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Just can't get enough of Grass Pond. Grass Pond is magnificent enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer Village is a magnificent local campground, and from Grass Pond you get a pleasant view of Slide Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Adirondak Loj is always a pleasant experience,                  and hiking is a popular thing to do around Grass Pond; Schwartz Trail is a pleasant local trail. Float down the rapids of Ausable River - West Branch in a kayak, and a lake nearby is Lake Placid. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Here at Grass Pond you'll possibly meet some people from Malone, and fine skiing awaits you at Whiteface Mountain. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Indian Pass Trail, and a magnificent nearby hotel is Swiss Acres Inn. At Grass Pond through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's.
