     Paddling on Oatka Creek is so much fun; Letchworth State Park is a great local campground. Just can't get enough of Grant Pond. If you need a place to stay Quality Inn Geneseo is a great choice, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try White Creek. This lake is so wonderful. RIT Inn & Conference Center is a wonderful location to get some rest, and Grant Pond is a delightful location to visit for more than one day, Genesee Country Campground is a delightful  
   location to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Swain is good.
Grant Pond is a site with many visitors from Rochester; lakes are such serene spots, why not have a look at Horseshoe Pond. A glorious view of wonderful Collings Hill is available from Grant Pond, and close to Grant Pond you come across a golf course called Chili Country Club. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Grant Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the
 
               60's. Highs during the wintertime are mostly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Grant Pond are in the 10's.
The yearly precipitation here at Grant Pond is about average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Soar down the rapids of Keshegua Creek in a kayak, and you'll discover a lovely lake called Log Pond.

Hundred Acre Pond has numerous fish species present, including Northern Pike, Yellow Perch, Sunfish, Largemouth Bass, Brown Bullhead and a few Chain Pickerel. The pond is generally shallow, with extensive weed beds extending almost to the surface in most places. Several open pockets are available however, and the water is quite clear. No power boats are allowed, but a small boat launch is present for canoes and similar craft....

...inally being named ''Last Will and Testament.'' With last year's trail expansion opening the possibility for Snowriders to bypass the steep part of Last Will and continue further down, we have taken the opportunity to bring back ''Testament'' as a blue square that can be accessed from either the ''Last Will'' headwall or from what is now ''The Pass'' and ''Fool's Gold'' in keeping with our West Woods theme. In addition to ''Maverick'' the new cut-through between Maverick and Twister will be a blue square called ''Bandit's Pass''.
NEW TRAIL: THE GLADE
We have opened up some fantastic glade skiing & riding above 80-acres and between Dozey Doe and Ben Blakely. The Swain Snowsport Instructors have spent many hours clearning the underbrush so that ''The Glade'' can be officially opened this year. Be sure to check it out when the snow flies!
