     The beauty of Grant Lake attracts many people from all around. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Grant Lake is great fun, Ranch Side Park is a great local campground, and Algonquin Motel is a brilliant location to get some rest. Be careful coming to Grant Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. If you're stopping by Grant Lake from Gloversville, you won't be the only one, and dry warm beds await you at Four Seasons Motel. All year is a delightful  
   time in the Adirondack Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Glide down the rapids of West Stony Creek in a kayak.
The top of Cathead Mountain is easily distinguished from Grant Lake, and don't leave Grant Lake without first going for a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail. Rainbows End is a perfect campground here. Lakes are great; Woods Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Grant Lake. Grant Lake is a relatively wet place frequently with
 
               lots of rain; November is when you get the most rain here, and February is when it's the driest.
So much exciting stuff to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too fine to be true. If you come at the right time of year, Doig Creek offers some great whitewater; there's splendid hiking along the Oregon Trail. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains. At Grant Lake during the summer highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Grant Lake.
