On a great day at Grant Lake you can take a hike along the Hamilton Mountain Fire Tower Trail, and the Oregon Trail is a delightful hiking trail close by. The view of Cathead Mountain from Grant Lake is picturesque. Lakes? Sure, Woods Lake is in close proximity. Grant Lake is a beautiful lake in the Adirondack Mountains. Doig Creek has a good whitewater paddling spot close       by, and a great nearby hotel is Holiday Inn JOHNSTOWN-GLOVERSVILLE. Yeah, come up here to the Adirondack Mountains for a good time. Camping is available at Ranch Side Park, and Three Ponds is a brilliant lake nearby. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on West Stony Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Rainbows End is a tremendous place to camp.                  During the summertime at Grant Lake temperatures are regularly in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Grant Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Grant Lake frequently gets much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout November; the driest month of the year is February. But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Grant Lake.
