American Campgrounds Of Saratoga is a great campground nearby, and get your pulse       rate up on the wonderful whitewater of Hudson River. During the warmest time of the year here at Granite Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are frequently in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Granite Lake. Be careful coming to Granite Lake, you might not ever want to go home again. You'll stumble on a striking lake called Winslow Pond                  near Granite Lake, and there's some flowing water nearby, Bell Brook is a stream you can stop at while here. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Hickory Ski Center is close to Granite Lake, and on a gorgeous day you get a nice panorama of Devils Den from Granite Lake.
