    Why not stop by Granite Lake if you're passing through these parts. Paddling on Hudson River is so much fun, and swing by Bell Brook it's a great site to stop by. High temperatures at Granite Lake during the long summer days are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and night lows during the winter for Granite Lake tend to be in the 0's. Lots of precipitation falls  
   at Granite Lake; throughout November this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February.
Devils Den is painless to spot from Granite Lake, and there are plenty of people from Albany-Schenectady-Troy here at Granite Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A fine close by hotel is The Saratoga Hotel and Conference Center, and Brookhaven Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Why not camp at Adirondack Adventure Resorts since you're here at Granite Lake,
 
               and there's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at close by West Mountain.
This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay American Campgrounds Of Saratoga is a great location to camp, and get dripping wet paddling on Sacandaga River. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Granite Lake. If you need a location to stay Country Club Motel is a glorious choice; tremendous skiing awaits you at Hickory Ski Center.
