A good close by hotel is Howard Johnson Inn Liberty NY; here at Gossweyler Pond you can see Hust Hill. During the summertime months here at Gossweyler Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Gossweyler Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a glorious choice;

| | if you're a golfer then a great close by course is French Woods Golf & Country Club. Why not stop at close by Buck Brook since you're here at Gossweyler Pond, and Hust Pond is a nearby lake that you could check out.

on Callicoon Creek - East Branch. This lake is so wonderful. Gossweyler Pond is a good place to visit for more than one day, Roscoe Campsites is a good place to camp nearby.
Gossweyler Pond frequently gets much rain; August is
the month that gets the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month. If you get bored of Gossweyler Pond, you could also stop at close by Anawanda Lake, and Callicoon Creek - North Branch has a nice whitewater paddling spot nearby.
