   Goshen Number Two Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Cannonball Trail. What would winter be without some skiing at Mt. Peter, and Ramapo River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by.
Comfort Inn & Suites is a delightful site to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Comfort Trail is always a nice adventure. Through the days of summer highs here at Goshen Number Two Reservoir get into the 80's; the overnight is a bit cooler of
 
               course, commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Goshen Number Two Reservoir. If you came for an overnight stay Ring Homestead Camp is a fine spot to camp, and whitewater paddling is great on Moodna Creek.
On a delightful day you acquire a view of Fort Hill from Goshen Number Two Reservoir, and you can go for a hike on the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail. Black Meadows is a pleasant spot to stretch your legs a bit; Hickory Hill Golf Course is a glorious golf course close by. After a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites CHESTER-MONROE-GOSHEN is a wonderful place to spend a night or two, and Black Meadow Creek is in the vicinity of Goshen Number Two Reservoir and is always a diversion to pop by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sterling Forest if you're here; Hill Lake is a splendid lake close by.
