A good site to camp here at Gorton Lake is Lake Chalet Motel and Campground, and you obtain a perfect view of Gorton Hill from here. Throughout the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Gorton Lake. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's.
