Hiking is a popular thing to do around Gooseneck Lake; Party Trail is a glorious local trail, and Snyder Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do close to Gooseneck Lake. There's so much to do here at Gooseneck Lake that you need to camp here for a while, OLD Forge Camping Resort is a glorious location for that, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Forty Mountain Trail. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's while Gooseneck Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. the Adirondack Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Twin Lakes Trail, and Black River - South Branch has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. So much entertaining stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just unbelievable.
In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River - South Branch, and if you're here, you could also go to wonderful Monument Lake. All the water falling down from the
sky makes Gooseneck Lake a wet place; most of the rain falls through August; February is the month with the least moisture.
