The warmest time       of the year at Gooseneck Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's while Gooseneck Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Gooseneck Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Knights Inn Little Falls is a pleasant place to get some rest; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes                  of nearby McCauley Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Twin Lakes Trail, and Black River - South Branch has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. So much entertaining stuff in the Adirondack Mountains, just unbelievable. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Moose River - South Branch, and if you're here, you could also go to wonderful Monument Lake.
