Why not camp at Nicks Lake Campgrounds while you're here at Goose Pond, and why not take a little trip to Bald Mountain Brook if you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Soar down the rapids of Black River - South Branch in a kayak, and if you've had enough of Goose Pond, Safford Pond is close by. Goose Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. You're probably       into lakes, Lake Rondaxe is one of those close by, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Norridge Trail. So many entertaining things to do here in the Adirondack Mountains, too splendid to be true. The summit of Bottle Mountain can be spotted from Goose Pond; camping is available at OLD Forge Camping Resort. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Thendara Golf Club not far from Goose Pond, and get wet paddling on Moose River - South                  Branch. All year is a splendid time in the Adirondack Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. If the weather is glorious here at Goose Pond, you can go for a hike along the Salmon Lake Trail, and wonderful skiing awaits you at McCauley Mountain. High temperatures at Goose Pond through the summer are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Goose Pond temperatures descend to the 0's. The Big Deer Pond Trail is a great hiking trail close to Goose Pond, and Knights Inn Little Falls is a splendid place to get some rest.
