What a nice lake Goose Pond is. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Goose Pond is excellent! What would winter be without some skiing at McCauley Mountain, and why not take a little spree to Bald Mountain Brook if you're here. At Goose Pond through the summer months highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Goose Pond are in the

| | 0's. This lake is so wonderful. On a pleasant day at Goose Pond you can take a hike along the Norridge Trail, and a beautiful lake like Cary Lake is a brilliant place to have a look at. Going for a hike on the Big Deer Pond Trail is always a wonderful adventure; if you come at the right time of year, Black River - South Branch offers some magnificent whitewater. for a while, Cape Woods Campground is a nice place for that, and if you came to camp Singing waters Campground is a perfect spot to do that. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Moose River - South Branch, and if you need a site to stay
Big Rock Cottages is a fine choice. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. There is a good hiking trail near Goose Pond called the Salmon Lake Trail, and dry warm beds
await you at Daikers Brookside Lodging. The high level of rain makes Goose Pond a quite wet site; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.
