If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Goodhue Lake. Goodhue Lake is not far at all from Corning. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Goodhue Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Bath / Hammondsport is a delightful place to spend a night or two,       and since you're here you can take a hike along the Niles Trail. A great close by hotel is Microtel Inn and Suites Bath, NY, and going for a hike along the Roe Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
