If you need a site to stay Johnstown/Gloversville Super 8 Motel is a good choice, and if you don't       mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sacandaga River - West Branch. During the summer highs here at Good Luck Lake reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's while Good Luck Lake night low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. The high level of rainfall makes Good Luck Lake a pretty wet location; August is the wettest                  month with most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
