Good Luck Lake is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Glide down the rapids of Sacandaga River - West Branch in a kayak, and Pine Lake Campground and RV Park is a fine campground nearby. Be careful coming to the Adirondack Mountains, you might not ever wanna go home again. Super 8 Johnstown/Gloversville is a wonderful location to get some rest, and Good Luck Lake is a fine place to visit for more than one day, Campsite is a fine place to camp nearby.

Good Luck Lake, and if you need a place to stay Holiday Inn JOHNSTOWN-GLOVERSVILLE is a pleasant choice. Nick Stoner Municipal Golf Course is a golf course near Good Luck Lake; lakes are such serene locations, why not stop by Trout
Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Get covered with water paddling on Piseco Outlet, and since you're here, you could visit Shanty Brook.
Good Luck Lake ordinarily gets a good deal of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.

Nine Corner Lake
| Been there several times and it's an enjoyable, short and easy walk. Our last visit there was somewhat ruined by a group of youngsters who felt they needed to bring their boom box with them as they sat on the shore communing with nature. Other than that - nice jaunt....Never been there...going there soon though....l\Love it there, going today. :)...Great spot for swimming in the summer. Clear waters, with many rocks and small cliffs to jump off, along with a rope swing! Its a heavily used area, made apparent by the large amount of garbage left around during the busy months, but all in all a good lake and definatley worth the short hike.... |
