If you're a golfer then a wonderful close by course is Batavia Country Club, and if you came for an overnight stay LEI-TI Campground is a great spot to camp. The peak of Temperance Hill can be observed from Godfrey Pond; a lake close by is Chapin Pond. Godfrey Pond is a good spot of typical rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February.       This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Godfrey Pond is fine fun, Frost Ridge Campgrounds is a fine local campground, and Comfort Inn Batavia is a delightful place to get some rest. Whitewater paddling is great on Oak Orchard Creek. Woodchuck Hole is a magnificent site, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Just can't get enough of Godfrey Pond. Oatka Creek has a brilliant whitewater paddling spot nearby; you're                  sure to come across some wonderful folks from Batavia here. All through the long summer days here at Godfrey Pond, high temperatures typically get into the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's.
