Go to Glendale Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Beaver Pond is a pleasant campground here, and delightful water scenery is available at New Croton Dam in the neighborhood of Glendale Lake. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Edith Macy Conference Center is a great spot to spend a night or two, and if you come at the right time of year, Popolopen Creek offers some good whitewater. On a good day at Glendale Lake you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and you can stay the night at Sebago Cabins Harriman. So many exciting things to do here at Glendale Lake, too fine to be true. brings highs in the 80's to Glendale Lake. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 30's while Glendale Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime
are in the 10's.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Moodna Creek, and Catamount Hill can be spotted from Glendale Lake. Glendale Lake sees pretty high levels
of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Enjoy a round of golf at Trump National Golf Club not far from Glendale
Lake, and the Stillwell Lake Trail is a fine hiking trail close by.
Watergate Motor Inn is a splendid place to get some rest, and naturally Bailey Brook is a pretty stream that is worth checking out.
