Camping is available at Camp Kiwi, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Wappinger Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Mahopac Point is not far from Glencoma Lake at all; close by you come across the Appalachian National Scenic Trail       which is a perfect hiking trail. If you're dropping by Glencoma Lake from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown, you won't be the only one, and if you need a location to stay Holiday Inn Mt. Kisco (Westchester Cty),Ny is a great choice.
