If you are traveling by, why not stop by Glen Lake. The high level of rain makes Glen Lake a relatively wet place; during May this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Callicoon Creek - North Branch. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Glen Lake has to offer, you can camp at Butternut Grove Campsite.

so inviting nobody can resist. Take a side trip to Ash Clove Brook. There's so much to do here at Glen Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Twin Islands Campsite is a tremendous site for that.
Basket Lake is a great lake
close to Glen Lake. Summer at Glen Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Glen Lake fall into the 10's.
