A fine place like Honey Hollow here at Gilmore Pond is too delightful to miss, and camping is available at Kettletown State Park. Gilmore Pond gets a large amount       of water; May is when you get the most rain here, and January on the other hand is the driest. The smiling folks of Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown like to hang out nearby, and Roger Sherman Inn (Le) is a brilliant site to get some rest. Camping at Clarence Fahnestock State Park is always a pleasant experience, and here at Gilmore Pond you can catch a glimpse of Fox Hill. Summertime at Gilmore Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration                  of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Gilmore Pond temperatures fall to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Lake Kitchawan is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and golf can be played at Pound Ridge Golf Club. Whitewater paddling is great on Norwalk River; dry warm beds await you at Village Inn Of New Canaan (Le). This lake is so wonderful.
