Gilman Lake is a lake worth visiting. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Gilman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rainbows End, and get covered with water paddling on Sacandaga River. Gilman Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Gilman Lake ordinarily gets lots of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most; February on the other hand is the driest.

down the rapids of Sacandaga River - Middle Branch in a kayak. So many exciting things to do in the Adirondack Mountains, not enough time. A great nearby hotel is Oxbow Lake Motel, and Moffit Beach is pretty nearby if you're in a
beach type of mood.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Gilman Lake you can take a hike along the Sucker Brook Trail.
