Not far from Gillman Pond, you'll discover Trout Lake which is a delightful lake, and enjoy a round of golf at Hotel Concord & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Holiday Mountain, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Neversink River. After a long day outdoors Best Western Monticello is       a good place to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Melody Lake is around here. Don't forget to take a wonderful little journey to Eden Brook; going for a hike on the Lost Cabin Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Near Gillman Pond you locate the Peenpack Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail, and camping at American Family Campground is always a delightful experience. At Gillman Pond through the summer highs are in the 70's. Through the dark hours                  of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's with temperatures at Gillman Pond dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. High Falls is a great local attraction, and there are tremendous places to discover along the Schiff Trail. So many enjoyable things in the vicinity of Gillman Pond, truly astonishing. A pleasant spot to camp here at Gillman Pond is All Seasons Campsite, and Super 8 Monticello NY is a magnificent place to get some rest.
