Gillespie Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. You absolutely must go for Gillespie Pond. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Gillespie Pond; Half Moon Pond Trail is a great local trail; after a long day outdoors Pine Grove Motel is a splendid location to spend a night or two. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mettawee River, and playing golf is lots of fun at Lake St Catherine Country Club.

Don't leave Gillespie Pond without first going for a hike along the Bomoseen Hiking Loop, and Colonell Williams Resort is a nice place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful.
