Do stop by Lake Georgina while you're in this part of New York. All through the long summer days at Lake Georgina highs are regularly in the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. All through the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Lake Georgina tend to be in the 10's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. | | the Ramapo-Dunderberg Trail. Glide down the rapids of Popolopen Creek in a kayak; hey, Gotta ski right? Sterling Forest is a magnificent site to do that.
A large amount of rainfall falls at Lake Georgina; May is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. you can catch a glimpse of Blackcap Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Moodna Creek is so much fun; Central Valley Golf Club is a golf course close by.
What would winter be without some skiing at Mt. Peter, and there
are other sites here than Lake Georgina, for example Barnes Lake. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Inn is a good location to spend a night or two; there's pleasant hiking along the Breakneck Ridge Trail.
Don't leave
Lake Georgina without first going for a hike along the Stillwell Lake Trail, and if you need a site to stay Harriman Motor Inn is a splendid choice.
