You are only allowed to drive trucks up there. Camp site 16 and 17 are located on Gay Pond. I love this place. Vey primitive and quiet. If you are looking for a place to be alone, this is it. Says Jim Coughlin Hickory Ski Center is a wonderful ski mountain, everybody enjoys it. 50% of the slopes are beginner     and intermediate and suited for kids and learners. The rest of the 200 acres of skiing territory, 50%, consists of hard slopes.
