After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Suites Lake George is a nice place to spend a night or two, and good skiing awaits you at West Mountain. Gay Pond is a good place of typical precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is typically the driest month. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby       Gore Mountain, and there's some flowing water close by, Podunk Brook is a stream you can explore during your stay. So much cool stuff to do here at Gay Pond, too good to be true. Huckleberry Mountain can be made out from Gay Pond. There's so much to do here at Gay Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Crazy Creek Campground is a tremendous place for that. At Gay Pond through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 70's. Through the dark hours                  of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Gay Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps can be such interesting locations, stop at Lockwood Swamp if you're here at Gay Pond; a nice spot for whitewater paddling is Sacandaga River. You'll hit upon a pretty lake called Stewart Lake near Gay Pond, and Gay Pond is not far at all from Glens Falls. This lake is so wonderful. Get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Schroon River, and a fine nearby hotel is Super 8 Motel - Lake George/Warrensburg Area. Gay Pond is located in the Adirondack Mountains. Just can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains.
