Summer brings highs in the 80's to Garrabrant Pond. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's, and overnight lows during the winter for Garrabrant Pond tend to be in the 10's. Ridge Trail is always a good adventure.
This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Popolopen Creek is so much fun, naturally you could also stop by Congers Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. Camping at Garrabrant Pond is
wonderful fun, Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a wonderful local campground, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Garrabrant Pond is a great site to camp, Beaver
Pond is a great site, and Hook Mountain is beautiful and can be seen from here.
