Garrabrant Pond is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. Manhattan Woods Golf Club is a nice golf course nearby, and obviously East Branch Hackensack River is a delightful stream that is worth taking a look at. Go for a hike on the Breakneck Ridge Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the magnificent whitewater of Popolopen Creek. All the water falling down from the sky makes Garrabrant Pond a wet place; July is the wettest month with most rain;

| | the driest of the months is February. Kaufmann Henry Campgrounds is a tremendous campground nearby; here at Garrabrant Pond you can catch a glimpse of Hook Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. Near Garrabrant Pond you find the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail which is a great hiking trail; the snow is great at Sterling Forest. High temperatures at Garrabrant Pond throughout the long summer days are in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop | |

down into the 60's. Highs through the wintertime are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Garrabrant Pond are in the 10's. A great close by hotel is New York City/Nyack Super 8 Motel, and you can run the rapids
of Ramapo River. Going for a hike on the Woodtown Trail is always a good adventure. Having a fine time at Garrabrant Pond is simple. If you came for an overnight stay Trailmark Outdoor Adventures is a nice place to camp, and if you're
going to from New York-Newark-Edison, you won't be the only one. After a long day outdoors Best Western Nyack On Hudson is a delightful place to spend a night or two, and Garrabrant Pond is not the only place nearby, Rockland Lake is a nearby lake.
