Go for a hike on the Woodtown Trail; you can stay the night at National Camp Assn. If you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ramapo River, and Lake Lucille is a nearby lake that you could visit. South Branch Minisceongo Creek is a pleasant spot to explore, and glorious hiking is available along the Breakneck Ridge Trail. What       a place this is for outdoors folks. Fairfield Inn By Marriott Spring Valley is a good location to get some rest, and what would winter be without some skiing at Sterling Forest. Collaberg Mountain is clearly visible from Garnerville Reservoir, and a good close by hotel is Candlewood Suites Nanuet-Rockland County, Ny.
