This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to run into some great folks from Norwich-New London here, and after a long day outdoors Sole East is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Throughout the summertime months at Gales Pond highs are generally in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly colder of course, commonly       in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows in the 20's for Gales Pond. Everybody loves Eastern Plain, and you can spend the day on the beach at Napeague Beach. Gales Pond frequently gets lots of rainfall; during the month of November you get the most rain around here while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's so much to do here at Gales Pond that you need to camp here for a while,                  Rocky Neck State Park is a wonderful location for that, and if you're here, you could also visit delightful Little Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Montauk Yacht Club, and do visit Airport Pond, it's a stunning lake. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Gales Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Niantic By The Atlantic; why not pop by Cherry Harbor also if you're here. If only every site had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great earth it would be.
