Gabriel Lake is a wet spot that gets a great deal of precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Happy Days Campground if you're here at Gabriel Lake, and a day on the slopes of Holiday Mountain is just what you need. There's whitewater on Delaware       River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; it's a magnificent idea to stop by Judson Brook. This lake is so wonderful. There is a splendid hiking trail right next door to Gabriel Lake called the Lost Cabin Trail; Mountain Lake is a great lake close by. If you came for an overnight stay Swinging Bridge Lake Campgrounds is a great spot to camp, and since you're here you can play some golf at Swan Lake Golf & Country Club. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy                  this location. The Schiff Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in the neighborhood of Gabriel Lake, and Days Inn Liberty is a wonderful place to get some rest. You can run the rapids of Mongaup River in the neighborhood of Gabriel Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Best Western Monticello is a magnificent choice. During the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 70's at Gabriel Lake with nighttime lows in the 50's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Gabriel Lake.
