A visit to Frick Pond is always a good idea. All through the summertime months highs here at Frick Pond get into the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows at Frick Pond during the wintertime ordinarily plunge into the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at De Bruce Country Inn; you can hit the slopes at Holiday Mountain close at hand. Frick Pond is good enough

| | to spend more than a day at, Covered Bridge Campsite is a good local campground; if you need a place to stay Beaverkill Valley Inn is a perfect choice.
So many enjoyable things to do in the Catskill Mountains, not enough time. This lake is one of the great places here in the Catskill Mountains. Frick Pond gets much water; most of the rain falls through May while February is typically the driest month.

enjoyable things. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Mill Brook; not far from Frick Pond you'll stumble on Hodge Pond which is a gorgeous lake. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot to camp here at Frick Pond is Hunter
Lake Campgrounds, and going for a hike on the Seager West Branch Trail is always a great adventure. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing stuff, what a great world it would be. Some of the water close by flows, like Sucker Brook; the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Belleayre.
