Why not camp at Camp Echo Lake while you're here at Frankcrest Pond, and lakes are such serene places, why not explore New Croton Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. You'll meet a lot of people from Poughkeepsie-Newburgh-Middletown here; do visit New Croton Dam if you're here. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Moodna Creek, and going for a hike along the Suffern-Bear Mountain Trail will let you                  absorb the natural beauty of this area.
