Stillwater Motel is a great place to get some rest, and McCauley Mountain is a very popular ski area close by. After a long day outdoors Brantingham Inn Motel is a glorious spot to spend a night or two, and why not head up to Snow Ridge and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Singing waters Campground; it's a wonderful idea to have a       look at Alder Creek. And that's not all you can do here at Francis Lake. There are other places here than Francis Lake, for example Beaver Lake, and hiking along the Post Henderson Trail is splendid fun. Francis Lake is a perfect location to camp, Moose River Camp Grounds is a perfect location, and do take a hike on the Salmon Lake Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Beaver River for all you thrill seekers, and you can have a great                  hiking adventure along the Norridge Trail. A common amount of rain falls here at Francis Lake; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer at Francis Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer night lows descend down to the 50's.
