At Francis Lake through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Francis Lake are in the 0's. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Woodwardia Pond; going for a hike on the Post Henderson Trail is always a good adventure.                  The yearly rainfall here at Francis Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest month of the year is February.
