In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black River - South Branch. There's so much to do here at Fox Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Singing waters Campground is a great location for that. Fox Pond is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. And that's not all you can do here in the Adirondack Mountains. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Salmon Lake Trail,       and obviously, A visit to Deadmans Gulch is always fun. What a location this is for outdoors folks. Thendara Golf Club is a golf course close to Fox Pond, and Moose River - South Branch is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. High temperatures at Fox Pond during the days of summer are in the 70's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Fox Pond. Just                  can't get enough of the Adirondack Mountains. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Fox Pond has to offer, you can camp at Cape Woods Campground, and there's magnificent hiking along the Norridge Trail. The high level of precipitation makes Fox Pond a pretty wet site; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Big Rock Cottages is a glorious choice, and you're probably hooked on lakes, Beaverdam Pond is one of those close by. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the good skiing at McCauley Mountain, and Daikers Brookside Lodging is a fine place to get some rest.
