Fox Lake is not the only location nearby, Turnpike Pond is a nearby lake, and the Steam Mill Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Island Glen Country Club is a great golf course close by, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Bald Hill Trail. A brilliant place to camp here at Fox Lake is Woodstock       On The Lake Campgrounds; after a long day outdoors Villa Roma Resort Lodges is a pleasant spot to spend a night or two. All the water falling down from the sky makes Fox Lake a wet place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Soar down the rapids of Delaware River in a kayak, and you can never get enough of the brilliant skiing at Tanglwood. This lake is so wonderful. Balsam Brook is a brilliant                  local stream, and swamps don’t sound that great but Big Brady Swamp in the neighborhood of Fox Lake is quite great. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Holiday Mountain since you're here, and camping is available at Kittatiny Campgrounds. Any time is a brilliant time at Fox Lake if you adore the outdoors. This place is great, just check out all the amusing things to do in close proximity to Fox Lake. Dry warm beds await you at The Lodge at Woodloch, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Schiff Trail. All through the summertime highs here at Fox Lake reach the 70's with night lows in the 50's.
