After a long day outdoors St Charles Hotel is a great place to spend a night or two, and get wet paddling on Kinderhook Creek. Near Fowlers Pond you discover the Indian Trail which is a nice hiking trail, and a great close by hotel is Red Carpet Inn Coxsackie. Fowlers Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly May, that's the one that rains the most while January is the month       with the least amount of precipitation. The Northrop Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close to Fowlers Pond; get yourself into a kayak and hit Hannacrois Creek. What a spot this is for outdoors people. A perfect location to camp here at Fowlers Pond is Dingman's Campgrounds, and hey, Gotta ski right? Catamount is a great location to do that. A charming lake like Merwin Lake right next door to Fowlers Pond is a great place to take a look at, and if you're                  dropping by from Hudson, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Cedar Grove Campground while you're here at Fowlers Pond; playing golf is lots of fun at Meadowgreens Restaurant & Golf Course. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Fowlers Pond. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Fowlers Pond temperatures sink to the 0's.
