Hiking is a popular thing to do around Fowlers Pond; Indian Trail is a magnificent local trail, and Dingman's Campgrounds is a glorious local campground. During the summertime months, highs generally are in the 80's at Fowlers Pond. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Fowlers Pond. Cedar       Grove Campground is a perfect campground nearby; good hiking is available along the Northrop Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Meadowgreens Restaurant & Golf Course, and in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Kinderhook Creek. Red Carpet Inn Coxsackie is a great site to get some rest; naturally, this is a delightful area for folks who like lakes, Merwin Lake is a lake nearby. Hannacrois Creek has                  a fine whitewater paddling spot nearby; dry warm beds await you at St Charles Hotel. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a glorious time here at Fowlers Pond. Fowlers Pond is not far at all from Hudson, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Catamount. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes are good; Smith Pond is a lake that's close to Fowlers Pond.
