A visit to Fourth Lake is always a good idea. There are some nice whitewater spots on Rondout Creek; Fourth Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Valley Lake is a glorious local campground. Fourth Lake is a relatively wet place usually with a large amount of rain; November is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

local trail. Just can't get enough of Fourth Lake. Fourth Lake is not far at all from Kingston; there's pleasant hiking along the Kanape Jeep Trail. For the period of the summer at Fourth Lake highs are generally in the 70's while
overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Fourth Lake.
This lake is so wonderful. The Phoenicia Trail offers hiking at its best, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Hunter Mountain.
