Through the summer at Fourth Lake highs are mostly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Fourth Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. Take a hike on the Kanape Jeep Trail, and a brilliant place for whitewater       paddling is Saw Kill River. Get your heart beating on the glorious whitewater of Rondout Creek, and in close proximity to Fourth Lake you come across a golf course called Wiltwyck Country Club. But wait, there's more to do near Fourth Lake. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Phoenicia Trail, and Camp Huntington is a great campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Holiday Inn KINGSTON; a lovely lake like Fifth Lake is                  a wonderful location to explore. This lake is so wonderful. You'll find a delightful lake called Second Lake near Fourth Lake, and if you need a site to stay Rodeway Inn Kingston is a wonderful choice. Hiking along the Willow Trail is tremendous fun, and Fourth Lake is not far at all from Kingston.
