Fourth Lake ordinarily gets a large amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is November; the driest month of the year is February. Hiking along the Willow Trail is great fun; a day on the slopes of Windham Mountain is just what you need. Stay the night at Ulster County Four-h Camp, and during your spree here you'll meet some people from Kingston for sure. Wiltwyck Country Club is a brilliant       golf course close by; a fine nearby hotel is Outdoor Inns. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Phoenicia Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and the snow is pleasant at Hunter Mountain. While you're here at Fourth Lake, you could also visit pretty Binnewater Lakes, and in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saw Kill River. Through the warmest time of the year at                  Fourth Lake highs are usually in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Fourth Lake dip into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Rondout Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot in the vicinity of Fourth Lake, and Hidden Valley Lake is a wonderful campground here. Having a good time at Fourth Lake is easy.
