    Why not stop by Fourth Lake if you're passing through these parts. These mountains rock, just look at all the exciting stuff to do in the Adirondack Mountains. Do go to Woodhull Lake in the neighborhood of Fourth Lake, it's a delightful lake, and you are next to Remson Point if you're here. Really pleasant skiing awaits you at Woods Valley, and you'll hit upon a striking lake called Third Lake. This lake is so wonderful. You can never get enough of the great skiing  
   at McCauley Mountain, and you can stay the night at Singing waters Campground.
There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Fourth Lake. Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a brilliant campground nearby, and whitewater paddling is nice on Black River. Take a hike on the Twin Lakes Trail; do pop by Hoxie Brook while you're here at Fourth Lake. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Adirondack Mountains.                at Fourth Lake you can take a hike along the Forty Mountain Trail, and get drenched paddling on Black River - South Branch.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Adirondack Mountains. Summertime highs at Fourth Lake usually tend to be in the 70's, and the overnight is quite colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Fourth Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Stone Dam Trail.
Fourth Lake gets a good deal of water; the wettest month of the year is typically August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is the month with the least moisture.
