Hoxie Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at; on a great day you can take a hike along the Twin Lakes Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Don't forget to have a look at Remson Point if you're here at Fourth Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Black River - South Branch in a kayak, and a charming lake like Little Woodhull Lake is a wonderful place to go to. Paddling on Black River is       so much fun, and Nicks Lake Campgrounds is a brilliant local campground. This spot, the Adirondack Mountains, has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Fourth Lake is a magnificent site to visit for more than one day, Singing waters Campground is a magnificent site to camp nearby, and going for a hike on the Forty Mountain Trail is always a fine adventure. This place, Fourth Lake, it clearly has so much outdoors exciting stuff. Really glorious skiing awaits you at McCauley                  Mountain, and there is a fine hiking trail nearby called the Stone Dam Trail. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Adirondack Mountains. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Woods Valley, and you'll hit upon a striking lake called North Lake. Fourth Lake is one of the lakes here in the Adirondack Mountains. Fourth Lake mostly gets a large amount of precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is February. For the period of the warm days of summer here at Fourth Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
