Through the warm days of summer here at Foster Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's. During the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the winter at Foster Lake temperatures drop to the 0's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Foster Lake; through June this area sees the most rain; January on the other hand is the driest. Jericho       Hill is a peak you can spot from Foster Lake, obviously you could also check out Ag-Tech Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Canaseraga Creek. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Foster Lake has to offer, you can camp at Park Meadow Camp Grounds, and float down the rapids of Sugar Creek in a kayak. Just can't get enough of Foster Lake. Very pretty scenery and wonderful skiing                  is what you get at Swain; if you've had enough of Foster Lake, Andover Pond is close by. After a long day outdoors Microtel Inn and Suites Wellsville is a great site to spend a night or two, and enjoy a round of golf at Vanderview Golf Course.
