All through the warm days of summer highs here at Foster Lake get into the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's while Foster Lake overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. If you come at the right time of year, Sugar Creek offers some splendid whitewater.       This lake is so wonderful. Vanderview Golf Course is a magnificent golf course close by, and there are some great whitewater spots on Canaseraga Creek. Comfort Inn Hornell is a wonderful site to get some rest; here at Foster Lake you can catch a glimpse of Jericho Hill. There's so much to do here at Foster Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Park Meadow Camp Grounds is a wonderful place for that, and if you need a place to stay Microtel Inn and Suites                  Wellsville is a magnificent choice. Stay the night at Deer Run Campgrounds, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Swain if you're here.
