If you are traveling by, why not stop by Forked Lake. Round Lake Outlet is a good whitewater spot near Forked Lake, and you can always enjoy a lazy day on the beach at Silver Beach. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Adirondack Mountains. You can run the rapids of Raquette River right next door to Forked Lake, and if you've had enough of Forked Lake, Grass Pond is nearby. This lake is located in the wonderful Adirondack Mountains.

Forked Lake is not the only spot close by, Helms Pond is a close by lake, and don't leave Forked Lake without first going for a hike along the Northville Lake Placid Trail. Adirondack Mountains will keep you coming back over and over. Getting to North Bay Stream from Forked Lake is trouble-free; North Bay is not far at all.
If you need a place to stay Woodlake Inn is a glorious choice, and if you
came to camp Long Lake Camp is a tremendous spot to do that. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Tioga Point State Campground is always a fine experience; glorious hiking is available along the Sucker
Brook Trail.
For the duration of the summertime months at Forked Lake highs are typically in the 70's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are ordinarily in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Forked Lake temperatures sink to the 0's.
